Apartment renovation in Israel
Architects from Raanans Stern’s Studio is presenting a project apartment in a 1930s building in the city of Tel Aviv, Israel. It’s an apartment renovation
and the interior space of 75sq was built in accordance with the needs of the owner, who is engaged in business and spends his life in different cities.
Brick wall, which is decorated with paintings by local artists, the apartment divides into two open and well-lit space. It is painted white with a slight sheen that visually expands the space. Another wall of dark-blue color to match the kitchen furniture stands a bright accent in the space opposite the living room. When the apartment renovation started, architects have used metal profiles and mesh window in the bathroom to give the room lightness and facilitate the sunlight to come in. Some home furnishings are a mixture of modern and old products. For example, the design of the dining room is complemented by two lamps, dismantled from the plant in the Czech Republic. Items of all kinds of materials, such as straw, velvet, wood and metal have been collected or created specifically for the project in order to enrich the environment of the apartment.
