Apartment Trama
This is Apartment Trama. A bright apartment of 70 square meters is located in a modern building, in a new area of the capital of Brazil.
Interior designers “guilty” for this project is Semerene Arquitetura. Initially, this apartment was clearly divided into a living room, kitchen, laundry room and two bedrooms. However, the owners of this apartment Trama, a young couple, demanded the creation of a multi functional space here. For example, at the entrance of the apartment is a steel structure, which serves as a rack and becomes the basis for a dining table. It is one of the pillars for the kitchen island, which results that the object is transformed into the “heart” of the apartment Trama. Also, designers consider ed sliding partitions between the zones, to maintain the ability to isolate specific areas. This reminds me of the Architect Gerrit Rietveld and it’s house “Schröder House” – A house with sliding walls, partitioning the zones.
Anyway, the project uses natural materials such as concrete and wood and are combined with metal, giving the interior an urban character.
Thanks to the bright colors of all the selected components and materials, the spaces are cheerful and reflect the lifestyle of the owners of the apartment Trama. Photo: Joana Franca
